Jeffrey Cunningham

Jeff graduated from SUNY Brockport where he recieved a BS in Physical Education, with a concentration in Sport and Facility Management. His career in aquatics dates back to December 1989 where he began as a volunteer instructor. Through the years Jeff has taught in recreation departments, high schools, universities, and country clubs. He has a New York State Coaching license in Swimming. Jeff also has a US National Coaching License in competitive diving, where he founded Western Monroe County "Outsiders" US Diving Program in Upstate NY. Jeff hopes to continue his education within aquatics, with the future hopes of building his own facility.
Over the last year, Jeff has been traveling to GA, VA, Washington D.C., NJ, MA, VT,NY, and PA educating facilities and schools on water safety. He has continued to be the NYS Section V Swimming Supervisor and has also been the Medical Director for the NYS Public High School State Championships.

Colleen Thomas
Collen is a third year seasoned professional lifeguard. Colleen will soon be graduating from Stamford High School. She will be taking a more active roll this year as she continues to gain certifications. She will be used as a permanent instructor at summer camps as well as the private sector. Colleen is looking forward to a wonderful summer and college in the fall.

Nicole Pia
Returning to Cunningham Aquatics for her third year, Nicole attends Southern Connecticut University. Nicole has a few years of experience co-teaching swimming in several different facilities. Nicole primarily works with private swim lessons and homeowners association contracts. She currently holds Lifeguarding, CPR for professional rescuer, first aid, and Water Safety Instructor (WSI) Certificates. This summer Nicole will only be teaching for one summer camp.

Amanda Acomb
Amanda comes to Cunningham Aquatics from Rochester, New York where she attends St. John Fisher College. Amanda will only be working May and June as she will be returning to the Rochester area to be the Chief Lifeguard at a State Park Beach. Amanda will be lifeguarding, instructing, and providing office help.
