Jeffrey Cunningham
Proud founder of Cunningham Aquatics (May 2002).
Jeff graduated from SUNY Brockport where he recieved a BS in Physical Education, with a concentration in Sport and Facility Management. His career in aquatics dates back to December 1989 where he began as a volunteer instructor. Through the years Jeff has taught in recreation departments, high schools, universities, and country clubs. He has a New York State Coaching license in Swimming. Jeff also has a US National Coaching License in competitive diving, where he founded Western Monroe County "Outsiders" US Diving Program in Upstate NY. Jeff hopes to continue his education within aquatics, with the future hopes of building his own facility.
Jeff has been to GA, VA, Washington D.C., NJ, MA, VT,NY, and PA educating facilities and schools on water safety. Jeff was a NYS Section V Swimming Supervisor and has also been the Medical Director for the NYS Public High School State Championships. Over the past two years, Jeff has assisted the Port Chester Carver Center & the Yerwood Center, through their renovations and created aquatic programming within their facilities.

Gosia Cunningham (COO)
A native of Poland, Gosia has been lifeguarding since December of 2006. She is pursuing a psychology & an accounting degree at NCC. Gosia has been appointed to the board of directors, of Cunningham Aquatics Swim Program, as the fiscal officer. Cunningham Aquatics Swim program is the new non-profit arm of Cunningham Aquatics, LLC, which focuses on exposing minorites in urban communities to aquatic training. We hope to begin programming in the fall of 2009.

Frank Arcano, III (Pool Manager)
Frank is a 2009 college graduate with a BS in recreation management. He is located at the Yerwood Aquatic Center. He has worked several years as a City of Stamford lifeguard. He has interned at the Stamford Italian Center. Besides lifeguarding and overseeing daily operations at the Yerwood Aquatic Center, Frank is certified to teach American Heart Association's CPR & First Aid courses.

Dena Blum-Rothman
A BS from Cornell University in Hotel Administration, and a Masters in Human Resources and numerous years in operations management of hotels and resorts. Dena brings a high level of customer service to the people within our programs. Dena has left the corporate market to pursue a career in aquatic education because as a mother of 3 she believes in saving childrens' lives through swimming. Dena specializes in ages 6 months - 3 years old as a certified ISR (Infant Swimming Resource) instructor. Dena has been a part of the Yerwood Aquatic Center since April 2009 and has taught over 200 infants the swim-float-swim survival techniques. Irais Rodriguez
A sophomore at Westhill High, and an ROTC cadet. Irais has been a student within our programs and has completed Jr. Lifeguard Training and has been a Jr. Instructor of swim lessons . She will be attending the next lifeguard training course and will be an attendant/lifeguard at the Yerwood Aquatic Center. Irais also contributes to our programs as a spanish translator.
